On show at the CMCA Rally

Wow what a week! From the 8 – 16 October 2017, over one thousand RVs descended on Bundaberg for the annual National CMCA Rally. RV Oceanside was delighted to be a part of the event, showcasing our new development, as part of the Rally Exhibition Hall.

The week-long program featured seminars on topics from ipads and technology to health and safety on the road, craft workshops, pet socialisation, networking and the ever popular disc bowls competition! 

Congratulations to our lucky prize winners who are off on a tour of the Southern Great Barrier Reef on the Lady Musgrave Experience. 

Having the Rally in our own backyard meant that we could take visitors on a tour of our development site, along with a visit of the surrounding attractions in Burnett Heads. We visited Oaks Beach, a short 450m stop from RV Oceanside, as well as the famous lighthouse, the nearby boat ramp and a pit stop at the marina for refreshments. 

We also had the opportunity to visit the HMAS Tobruk, which is currently moored at the Port of Bundaberg, in preparations for it to be scuttled off the Bundaberg Coast. What a wonderful attraction that will be! 

Our tours concluded with a drive through the main street of Burnett Heads, which is home to an IGA, chemist, coffee shops, hotel, beauty salon and a number of boutiques. 

The Rally was such an amazing event to be a part of. What a great way to bring new visitors to our region and showcase all of what Bundaberg has to offer. We can’t wait to see you at CMCA 2018 in Gunnedah, NSW!
